Belmar Concert Series to Open February 14th
With the stirring sounds of The Atlantic Wind Ensemble, the First Presbyterian Church of Belmar launches its 2010 Concert Series on Sunday, February 14th at 3 PM. Led by Harry Eichhorn, the ensemble will present marches, show tunes, classics and big band sounds. Admission is free. Plenty of street parking is available near the church.
Subsequent concerts in the series include harpist Elaine Christy on March 14th; vocalists Brace Negron and Siri Howard on April 11th; and the Jersey shore's own swinging big band, The Nocturnes, with vocalist Cheryl Parker on May 16th.
All concerts take place Sunday afternoons at 3 PM. The church is located at 600 Ninth Ave. in Belmar, at the corner of 9th Ave. and E Street. The church is handicapped-accessible and air-conditioned. All concerts are admission-free.
